Turbo Separator
The turbo separator is designed to be used in coarse screening applications, such as pulp strainers where the amount of trash and flake content is high, such as recycled paper pulp. In addition to its role as a primary screen, it also proves to be a valuable asset when used in conjunction with a cylindrical screen in the early stages of the screening process as a secondary screen.
Working Principle -
By using centrifugal forces generated by a rotor with multiple blades, it efficiently separates and removes contamination from materials during coarse screening applications. Pulp stock is introduced into the inlet chamber of the Turbo Separator through a tangential inlet. In this inlet chamber, outlets are strategically placed for both heavy and light rejects. The accept chamber and the inlet chamber are separated by a screen plate and a rotor with multiple curved blades.
Key Features: -
- De-flaking Potential: The Turbo Separator offers a higher de-flaking potential, resulting in a more efficient and precise screening process.
- Operational reliability : This disc screen meets the precision demands of industrial processes by providing dependable and consistent performance.
- Contaminants Removal: The standout feature of this device is its ability to separate contaminants, both light and heavy rejects. You get a cleaner and more refined end product by using this dual-action approach.
